I like this. I really like the way you’ve done the kitchen/diner on the raised foundation. I must admit that I wouldn’t have used that fireplace on this lot – it’s a bit too old-fashioned for the modern decor and build that you’ve created. I’m not usually keen on open plan but in this case it works and I like it!
Oooh! Score! I like that green panelling a lot. Of course the style of the house is the universal sim favorite, modern! This one has its own personality though which is nice. Happy day all!
Thanks 🙂 I’m not a big fan of modern/open-plan myself, I just like to try something different sometimes. I know what you mean about the fireplace, but when you see it in-game it seems to work…I hope!

There is a lack of modern fireplaces for sims2 anyway, unless you pootle off to TSR!

Me too! I can’t even manage wallpapers, I’ve had a go but it was a dismal attempt!
It really helps if you find a good image that matches well at either side, that’s the hardest part.
It also doesn’t help that all the pictures in the tutorial are missing
