August Challenge

This challenge involves a shell of a building made with the Sims 2 base game that I made myself. It’s very basic, with no decoration, doors, windows or anything else.

Here are the do’s and dont’s:

You cannot:

Change the outer shell in any way. i.e. walls and roofs must remain exactly as they are placed

You can:

Create a house, hotel, dorm, apartment building, community lot etc., or a combination of any or all of these
Add doors, windows, stairs and interior walls
Change roof pattern and height
Use Cheats
Add as much custom content as you want
Use any expansion and/or stuff packs
Add fencing
Add landscaping
Change lot name
Add a garage/car etc.

Required images:

Birds-eye view floor plans
Front and back from street level
Each room in the house – If your bathrooms are small, you can leave these images out.

Woohoo, that’s what I wanted to see earlier! Something else to put back my other stuff, oh well, like a challenge and I could upload this one (note to self: must sort out the June challenge).

Cant change the roof shape but can you change the height of the roof?

Yes, take a look at the do’s and dont’s again…you can change the roof patterns and height 🙂

My comment disappeared! I had asked whether this means the house has no inside walls. I would have checked but in searching for it in-game I saw many other houses I recently downloaded and experienced 3 game crashes while placing them in a neighborhood!

Yes, no interior walls. It’s interesting figuring out rooms and such. :smile-big:

Yes, nothing at all inside, and made with just the base game, so this should cause no issues…I hope!

I turned Challenger into an hotel, all with en-suite bedrooms. I couldn’t take pictures of all the bathrooms, unfortunately. I hope you like it:

Thanks 🙂 I’ve tried to keep CC to the bare minimum and used only what I think an hotel should have. I’d be happy to send this packaged to anyone who’d like to add it to their game.
