Chicken

There’s a video in one of the Sims 2 channels, showing a sort of funny farmer interacting with a chicken. He sits in front of a box that holds a chicken on the top, sort of talk to the chicken, gets angry, gives a punch, the chicken is thrown up and falls back to the box again.
Anyone knows if this is a real game object and if yes, where is it available for download?

Personally, I’ve never heard of it. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, but I don’t know. Perhaps Boiling Oil or some others might know??

They had in the ps3 game of TS2 pets a game called chicken checkers, was this what you saw?

Yes, that’s it. I don’t know if my grankids have PS3 any longer, they are grown-ups now. Pity, I would like to extract it for my game, if possible. I’m very interested on objects animations (not sims) but there’s so little available to start with.

I got confused now. PS is not standing for “Play Station”? or do you mean the Pets Stories Mini Game? I got only the “Life Stories” and “SimCity4” from my Kids for birthday once, maybe from a sales off once TS games are too expensive to give away. 🙂 Anyone know if the chicken object is also included in the “Pets Stories”? If so, I could think on buying it once it seems to hold many interesting objects that were never in TS2.

yes ps is for playstation, it was in a playstation 2 game, not a playstation3, whats funny is its so vivid to me but I dont think I had pets for playstation, I have the original lifestories though so maybe it was in there, can have a look and let you know if you like

I’m sure never going to buy a playstation, but if you have the original lifestories for PC and could take a look if you find something alike or anything interesting that is not in TS2, you could tell me. Maybe they are still being sold over here, dunno. I was thinking to install the Lifestory in my laptop but it doesn’t have DVD station, well, I have a mobile one but it is old and quite clumpy. 🙂

its not in buy build mode, but was thinking i may play the game just to have a wee change, and it could end up being one of the rewards, but I have a feeling not! Wont hurt to look though. Also there are a few conversions of lifestories out there, plus pet stories and castaway, have you seen them? https://s22cdb.livejournal.com/

I took a quick look at your link but it doesn’t seem to have anything that I don’t have already. It is probably not in any of the Lifestories otherwise someone would convert it. I’m not even sure that it is something that interesting. It looks fun in the video but experience shows that videos catch only the most interesting and this can mean “no more than this available”. I’m doing some animation manipulation and probably will create some craziness in the future. Going very slowly because the material available for “manipulators” like me are primitive and weak. I regret that I didn’t become a programmer but I was born Ndreds years before the computer and we had other priorities at that time. 🙂

I also thought the Sims Medieval had a chicken in a crate. Not a game though but I thought there was a challenge in there, could be wrong.
