January 2013 Challenge – Part 1

The theme for this challenge is ‘Roman‘. This is the challenge:

• Your item can be absolutely anything related to ancient Rome – A house or street, a Sim, animal, furniture, clothing, even recolours.
• Any expansion and/or stuff packs and custom content can be used.
• Sims 2 or Sims 3 can be used.
• You don’t need to provide the item as a download (in our downloads section only), but you can if you wish, as long as you follow our uploading rules and provide links to the custom content you use.
• Required images are: Well, anything that shows the item in it’s best light. Houses must have birds-eye views of all levels, front and back views and every room inside. If you can’t manage to take a screenshot of the bathroom you can leave it out, but we have some screenshot tutorials that may help:

Note that this is a challenge, it isn’t a competition with prizes, and we won’t be picking an overall winner. Simply reply to this post with your pictures.

Here’s my attempt at a Roman garden ornament. The left side is the actual ornament, and for the right one I switched on the moveobjects on cheat to place a plant inside.

Give me all the time in the world and I probably still wouldn’t have it done. The theme just didn’t spark any ideas for me 🙁

I have too many ideas and no time to do it! Going away boxing day until the 6th of Jan, so wont be able to do any simming then! 🙁
