      I did purchase the Sims 4, but asked for a refund after a couple of days as I was really disappointed with the build-mode and lack of CAS. Here is a site that details a lot of missing features:

      Would you purchase this game, or stick to TS2 or 3?

        I want to wait until it is fully perfected. I didn’t like Sims3, so they really have to improve from sims 3 before I will buy it.

          Thanks for posting! I have always felt left behind by Sims3, even though I have it with several expansion packs. I just never enjoyed it the way I do Sims2, so I was thinking of buying Sims4 just to stay updated, but now I won’t waste my money. I really appreciate the info!

            I think it’s because I’m mainly a builder rather than a player. I’ve heard that the gameplay itself is very good, but even then the Sims 3 is superior in a lot of ways. However, I too prefer the Sims 2, but Princess, my daughter, loves Sims 3 as she mainly plays rather than builds. I think the biggest problem people have with Sims 4 are the constant loading screens and lack of create-a-style. I’ve done a lot of research around various gaming review sites and the Sims 4 reception is decidedly mixed. It’s all a matter of personal preference, and what one person doesn’t like another may love!

                I’m hoping that at some point they are going to give away all the packs for S3 the way they did for S2 a while back. 😀

                  I’d prefer to wait until the Sims 4 gets better. I’ll stick with the Sims 2 right now. :65:

                    There are so many people that prefer the Sims 2. It’s easier to build, play and create for it, perhaps that’s the attraction. 🙂

                      Decided completely, that I don’t want it, I’m having enough problems with Sims2, and Windows 7. At least I can create, even if it breakes out once in a while.
