Downloads not working

I have tried downloading houses on this website. They are in my downloads folder and I am using WinRAR. When I try to “Extract here”, it tells me for some of the houses that “no archives have been found” and that it is an unknown format or damaged. Could anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thank you.

Hi, I downloaded some houses from here and used Sim2 Pack Clean Installer, I clicked on the house I wanted in the game the program said it was installed successfully
but I can’t find the houses.
Tricia house is one, Cheeky is two. What is strange is I think I have the walls/floors for the game but can’t find the houses.
Can someone help please

I’m not sure about that, chi. Do you have all the required packs for the houses you are trying to install?

The only one I don’t have is Apartment Life. For some reason when I put that into my game, it won’t run right. I took it off twice and had the same problem, wish I could remember what it was but
it did cause some kind of problem. I will get the name of the files to you before I leave here tonight

The file names are—-Cute Cabin-by LadyAngel, Heartfelt-Place + Home @ Last+ Nurdi-Crt by Cheeky, & Living In The Trees, by Trishiamanly (hope I spelled that right?)

Has anyone found out why I can’t find the house I downloaded? I even tried to extract them again with Sims2 Pack Clean Installer. Could the program be a problem. I didn’t have this problem until I put Sims2 Pack Clean Installer.

If they are built with Apartment Life and you don’t have that installed in your game they will not show up, unless of course you have M&G and then they should because both of those use the same game engine.

If you look at the top of each download, it will tell you which packs are needed before you can install the house.

I have to tell everyone I found out the problem why the houses I downloaded were not showing up in my game. I used Sims2 Clean Installer, but when I took that program
off and went into my game voila! there they were. I can’t seem to use clean installer on my computer. I am now going to download some more houses here. I am so glad
That I found the problem. Thanks for all of your help anyway……I love the houses I downloaded. Really pretty.

Unfortunately, some of the uploaded files were corrupted. These have now been removed, but if there are any more problems, please let me know.
