Firstly, you should never delete your mailbox, because if you do the Repo Man will appear after three days to take something from your house in lieu of payment. Instead direct your Sim to get the mail and then cancel it as soon as they get it. Now make the Sim place the bill on the ground and then using the ‘boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true’ code delete it.

If you have a “Green” cottage as I have built, the money made from all that unused energy pays the sim/sims to live there! My new sim just made close to 3,000 simoleons just doing what she normally does. I will share the cottage here for download one I figure out how to do that on here. It’s fully furnished and quite lovely. The mansion and garden packs are needed. Your mailbox has more to it than meets the eyes, so yes, do not delete it.

Looking forward to seeing your ‘green’ cottage. I must try that idea out.

Wow, I didn’t know that! I love learning new stuff about the Sims, and I’d love to see your home here, I’m sure it will be charming. :113:

If you have already deleted your mailbox, you can get a mailbox that is sold in your catalog. Simbology has it. I have it in my catalog. Also, you can get a mod to keep NPC’s away for good! My game no longer has the mean witches, Mrs. Crumplebottom, repo man, social worker and so on in it. There are mods that take care of all of this. I am not afraid of mods. I have 267 mods in my game. They all load as they should and work like a charm. I even have a mod called “No Jealousy At All.” There will never be jealousy again and your sim won’t have to suffer the slap fest that ensues when others are jealous. Doing a search on MTS, Simbology, Sims Wardrobe, And Insim.org will score a lot of mods, but only use what you need and be certain you have the ep’s and sp’s they ask for. My sims are assassins and I have working AK 47’s in game. Sims Wardrobe has those. I also have a mod from MTS that looks like a mirror, but your new sim clicks on it and they take medication which means they will never become ill, ever. Mine are never sick and they don’t die. Kind of like sims 1. 🙂

Interesting. I’ve never really used mods in my game, just the odd cheat. When I start a game from scratch (rarely, now!) I like to play it properly. I my give some of the ones you mentioned a try, though, just to see what difference they make to the game play.

                  Re: Never Pay Bills

Having the NPC witches out of the game stops the lag cause from them landing on community lots and casting those nasty cockroach spells. lol The social workers are terrible and so are the repo man and the other NPC’s. So I got rid of them, especially Mrs. Crumplebottom. I could see no good reason for her to be in the game in the first place. lol It’s handy to have a mailbox you can purchase in case you delete yours while decorating, or building or because you just didn’t know better. lol It works like a charm. The jealousy makes me nervous. So, I have the no jealousy at all mod in to stop the violence. lol The medicine mod is great! My simmies no longer get flu or sick from pets. Let me know which ones you try and how you like them. To uninstall, just delete them while not in game from your downloads folder. I also have the sim blender and insim. You can have it and never use it but it is a life saver when you are in a situation where you can’t save anything. It enables saves and more. Also, I have my buttons enabled with a mod I use that allows you to access your inventory while downtown. Love it! I can have picnics and the like!! 🙂
