Some years ago, an alien space craft landed on an isolated island in the Pacific. The people that had been tracking it were not an official government department, but They managed to hide the small craft and contain the beings inside before anyone else became aware of it.
An old research facility, seemingly abandoned, has since shown signs of activity. People have been seen coming and going at strange hours, but the doors remain firmly locked to the public; cameras cover the grounds, inside and out, and unusual noises hint at terrible suffering within.
